Allergen Warning Notice
Our Shelf Edge Labels (SELs) provide all the information legally required of an in-store bakery or food-to-go operation. Each label includes the product name and descriptor, price point and other legal requirements such as meat content, additives and allergens.
In addition to this requirement many products carry a ‘May Contain Statement’ to communicate allergens that a product may contain due to ‘Unintentional Allergen Cross Contamination’ which for most Food Business Operators can occur from three sources – i) the supplied product ii) product handled by you and your staff and iii) the consumer, where products are sold unpackaged.
