Introducing Hudson's, our simple solution to Hot Dogs & Burgers.
More than ever before shoppers want portable, conveniently packaged, tasty food to go products (IGD, 2020). And, for those occasions when a handheld snack or sandwich just isn’t substantial enough, help is at hand in the shape of our delicious hotdogs and burgers from our latest branded concept, ‘Hudson’s’.
‘Hudson’s’ enables retailers to offer an operationally simple, great-tasting range of five hot dogs and burgers including the Classic Hot Dog, Breakfast Sausage, and Quorn™ Hot Dog. Also included is the ‘Burguette’ – a quarter pound beef burger in a baguette and the ‘Ribuette’ – yes, you’ve guessed it a delicious Pork rib served in a baguette!
What makes this range so operationally simple?
Let’s start with the hot dogs and burgers: We’ve made it as easy as possible for retailers to produce a great tasting range in a matter of minutes; The Hot Dogs can be steamed in a gastronorm pan placed in an oven, microwaved or reheated in a Bain Marie. The burger and ribsteak can also simply be cooked in the oven on a baking tray.
Then the carrier: All the products fit perfectly into the vegetarian-friendly ‘Hudson’s’ baguette which comes fully baked, pre-sliced and ready to use once defrosted (2 hours). The baguette will stay fresh in a sealed container for up to two days, giving you plenty of time to get ahead of the morning, afternoon, and evening rush!
What about the packaging? Our exclusive ‘Hudson’s’ packaging means that only one bag is needed for all the products in the range. It features a clear window for product visibility, which is also perforated to maintain product quality for up to four hours in a hot display unit. Simply apply the relevant bright, impactful barcoded sticker for easy product differentiation on-shelf.
What about my storage space?
Small case sizes make for easy storage and retailers can have their ‘Hudson’s’ products delivered along with their regular Country Choice order** - one order, one delivery, one invoice!
And we did not stop there…
To help you merchandise the ‘Hudson’s’ range to the maximum, fully branded, open fronted self-serve display units – either a three-shelf countertop unit, or four-shelf floor standing option - are available for high footfall sites. For smaller sites, the products can be merchandised in their existing hot unit.
As with all our concepts ‘Hudson’s’ is supported by comprehensive Marketing support which includes point of sale designed to drive awareness, footfall, and sales. This includes ‘A’ boards*, posters, hanging signs, and shelf talkers.
As always, training on the correct preparation, cooking and merchandising of the ‘Hudson’s range is available both on-site and virtually, and is supported by comprehensive online instruction guides covering all aspects.
