Attention-grabbing doughnuts at Londis Caenby Corner!
Our exciting new Boston’s doughnut brand has been turning heads at Londis Caenby Corner, where both our ‘Hand-Topped’ and ‘Thaw & Serve’ solutions are flying off the shelves.
Store Manager, Georgie, shares:
“The Boston’s doughnut concept has been a fantastic addition to our food to go offering. The variety of toppings, especially the branded options such as Biscoff, Jammie Dodger, and Jaffa Cake, have been a real hit with our customers. Being able to hand-top the doughnuts gives them a real premium look and feel that makes them appear expensive, while still being affordable.”
She also highlights how eye-catching boxes and non-sugared doughnuts have made a difference:
“Switching to non-sugared doughnuts has undoubtedly helped because they have a ‘cleaner’, more appealing look. The introduction of colourful packaging is another standout feature—it looks amazing and has significantly boosted sales.”
Delicious and affordable, the product range continues to impress:
“The puddle doughnuts have been another winner. Quick and easy to defrost and get out onto the shop floor—our customers love them. They look every bit as good as other brand name products while remaining affordable. The Crodots have also been gaining momentum over the past few months, and we now sell one or two packs most days. I think it’s because they are another affordable yet delicious option.”
Boston’s seasonal specials also shine with powerful Point of Sale support:
“The Christmas and Easter doughnuts were a massive success—the festive toppings worked brilliantly, and customers loved them. We’ve been really impressed with the new POS materials and have also been using the tall floor stand, placing it near the queue area, and this has been incredibly effective in driving sales.”
Impressive Sales Growth:
Within just four months of trading, Londis Caenby Corner reached an average of £600 per month in additional doughnut sales. By November, during the festive season, this jumped to £1,200 per month and has been maintained ever since. With 63% of sales coming from multipacks, Boston’s doughnuts are forecasted to contribute over £12,000 in additional revenue this year to the store’s bakery and food-to-go areas.
Account Manager Karen Crouch adds:
“Londis Caenby Corner love our Boston’s hand-topped doughnuts and say it’s a fabulous product. They experience high daily demand and have hardly any waste. Their Manager is very enthusiastic about our seasonal specials, which is great.”
