Together we can make allergy history

Country Choice is proud to be partnering with The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, helping fund their work to make allergy history by supporting the organisation’s goal of preventing and eradicating food allergies.

With up to 3 million people in the UK living with food allergies, Country Choice will support Natasha’s Foundation to deliver on its mission and improve the lives of millions of children, teenagers, and adults living with this life-threatening disease.

By collaborating with The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, we want to raise awareness, share best practices and implement innovative solutions to better serve customers with food allergies.

What do you need to know:

As a food business owner, you need to ensure your staff are aware of the food information regulation and how information must be presented. You are also responsible for the accuracy and availability of allergen information you provide.

What is a food allergy?

A food allergy is where your body reacts to certain foods. It's often mild, but can be very serious for some people. Symptoms include rash, nausea, stomach pain, itchy skin, shortness of breath, chest pain and anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening severe reaction!

Up to 3 million people are living with a food allergy in the UK.

We want to improve allergy awareness in the food industry therefore we are proud to announce our partnership with The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation.

How will we help?

We developed our own bespoke labelling solution, directly linked to a constantly updated database, to help businesses serving food to ensure that allergens are clearly labelled on food to go products.
